COLLEEN - OWNER & LEAD ORGANIZER
I am honored to own and operate a business that helps to completely transform peoples lives.
I am inspired by the challenge of every new home we enter, figuring out what is important to the client, the barriers getting in the way of their productivity and flow, and how we can best serve this person and the ones they share their home with. I love the process of taking everything out, evaluating it in a thoughtful way, and either letting things go or putting items back in a more organized, intentional way. With labels.
I constantly tell clients, “I am not anti-stuff. I am anti-stuff getting in the way of your life.” I love stuff! It is good to be surrounded by things that help make your life better, or bring you joy. What I don’t love is when the “stuff” gets in the way of living our best lives. I want to help you utilize your space in a way that best serves you.
While organizing has always been a passion of mine, I believe that everything I have done personally and professionally has led me to this perfect career for me. I get to use my ADHD as a super power while I hyper focus and work my magic in a client’s home. My education and world travels have carved a curiosity and empathy for people which makes me feel like a friend helping go through your prized possessions rather than a hired stranger. My entrepreneurial nature supports my energy for each new client as if I am starting a new, important venture with each new job.
I have a bachelors degree in psychology and have always loved to think of why each of us are wired as we are. Many organizers view their jobs as a mental health service, and I believe this completely.
I worked at The Container Store for over a year during the pandemic and became an expert in products available - there and otherwise. . Through this job, I met a local professional organizer and worked for her business before naturally launching my own in January 2023.

ALICIA - ORGANIZER
I’m super ecstatic to be a part of the Space By Space team! Organizing has always been a passion of mine. I remember even at a young age finding peace in a good system. As I grew up, I was drawn to lists and spreadsheets, and technology that makes life a little easier.
Just when I was organizing my own closet I told a friend I wish I could get paid to organize. She made an introduction to Colleen and I still feel like I am living a dream where I get paid to get in the zone and organize all day.
I have trained and worked with Colleen to learn all of her organizing methods and tricks. My favorite part of our proces is taking everything out and doing a big, categorized sort for our client. It is such a meaningful moment when they see their stuff all in one open space. It really allows them to think about what is important and what is getting in the way of that.
After that big purge, my favorite task of the day is putting it all back together. I get so excited to color sort a craft room or meticulously put a bathroom vanity back together for optimal daily use. It is that detail oriented work that makes us a special experience. We really listen to our clients and want to leave them with a whole new way of doing life in their home.
I am also a licensed estitician. On my off days from Space by Space, I am a custom airbrush tanning salon manager.
